first use, genuine snowfeet

finally got a chance to use the real snowfeet. depending on whether you're a half empty or half full person... i either had a little bit of snow on the grass, or i had green snow. the ground was quite a bit harder than the last warm, heavy snow of the last runs on the copycat feet.
these feet seem much "slicker," and there were quite a few times that the gusts almost put me on my butt. i was able to get in many, many short runs and turns in the alleged 18mph with 30mph gusts.
started with the 7.6 nasa and thank god, i didn't die for the first attempt. after wrestling with that beast i trotted back home and grabbed a 2.4 flexi sting. that was the ticket for about 2 hours. a 3.3 sting may have been a better choice for the last hour, but i didn't make the switch.
even with the small sting and goofy wind, my short runs (150ish to 300 feet or so) were upwind, downwind, straight across, whatever i wanted.
with our abnormally warm winter here in detroit, this may have been the last hurrah already.
i did not get a chance to try either pair in snow of any real depth, but they are an amazing amount of fun in the light dustings that i was able to get out in.
my own revelation from the s-shaped runs yesterday is that it was quite similar to water skiing, without the costs of a boat.
