Ok, the long story...This is my attempt at a partial buggy build.
So, the story is this. I purchased a Flexifoil with lots of extras from GLX here on the forum. Thank you Genci.
Well after taking the first ride in it, I realized it needed a back rest. That cross bar on the Flexi wide axle really is not comfortable on the lower
back. So I made a backrest out of a MTB board deck I had sitting around. And made a few changes to make it my own. You guys know how that goes.
Any way I was left with some parts. I had a narrow Flexifoil axle, a down tube and a Flexifoil seat. All that was missing were the side rails, front
fork and the wheels for a complete buggy. At the fall 2019 WBB, I acquired a set of wheels from Larry. Thank you Larry. Now all that was missing was
the fork and side rails. Well after some toying around with the idea I decided to build the side rails and a fork. I was planing on making a fork to
fit only barrow wheels, side rails and fit them to the narrow axle. Kyle, my son DredBro here on the forum, said dad why not make the fork to fit the
midi wheel. So, I was like yes why not. Off to my home shop (AKA my wife's parking spot in the garage). Here is what we wound up doing (and I am glad
we did). We put the original parts together to make an original Flexifoil Buggy. Then we began the work on the custom Flexi wide axle. I did most of
the planning and rough fabrication and Kyle did most of the welding and finishing work.
I had these left over.....
We made or modified these..... Decided to make the frame fit the seat... ( Kyle's suggestion )
Put them together.....
Add padding RX+ seat and a bag....
And then there were two...

And with your Zephyr it's gonna be 3..?Jack.Oh - 22-3-2020 at 07:10 AM
Actually it will be 4. I also have a PL Drifter. My son Kyle realy likes that one. It is a little short for me to be comfortable. Randy - 22-3-2020 at 07:54 AM
That US417 looks like a bad ass buggy. The other one looks like....mine. (But
I still love it.) Jack.Oh - 22-3-2020 at 04:55 PM
Thanks Randy, The US417 buggy is a Flexifoil wide axle the rest is custom. I finished it up this past Friday. I was going to take it to the WBB, but
that was canceled. Still hoping for the JIBE but at this point who knows...
Anyway the smaller Flexi is good for around here, all I have to buggy on are some soccer fields.
