Yesterday I made the drive to sunset Beach and had a great time with John, Eli, and Cotton. I am falling in love with my peak 3 6m. I have read
everything there is to read about the peaks on this forum and everywhere else. I am still learning so maybe that's why I'm so in love with them but I
look forward to the next time going out. Winds were only about 10 miles per hour or so and I got a new top speed of 31 miles per hour. I look
forward to progressing at the sport. It's definitely in addiction and there's no way to stop! Currently I do not have the reef line hooked up on my
peak. If I hook it up does this act similar to the re-ride system on ozone as far as landing my kite? Seems like everytime I try to land it it does
a bow tie on me and gets all tangled up.
Windstruck, from reading your posts I agree with you. It does require some effort to keep the bar pulled in. But I have never flown a peak to so I
have nothing to compare it to so I think I'm going to have to live with it! I love the pretty orange and the small pack size !

That was supposed to say never flown a peak 2

I knew what you meant. As the Peaks have evolved they've been refined and brought in line with other kites in the greater line of Flysurfer kites. One
part of that "evolution" was going from two pullers per side in the DP bridling to one. While I've hardly done the geometry to quantify my point, it
would seem that going from two pulleys to one decreases the pilot's mechanical advantage over the kite and thus increases the bar pressure. I sure
thought the P3 felt harder to keep the bar pulled in compared to the P2. I've in turn never flown (or seen in the wild) a P4.
These are great kites and it's great to hear that you have a love affair going on with them. Rock on!

I'm currently single in more way than one. It's an ok way to fly.
Now someone's comment on having multiple skins or relationships...

I'm married so I'd better keep my comments to myself LOL.

I was flying single when I was married. Then I became single...
It's all good. Fly what you fly. Date who you want. Marry who you want to marry. Whatever puts a smile on your face. Take it easy, life is too
short.
