Replaced all the bearings and updated the 2-piece rims & tires

During my latest outing the bearings on my Libre 20mm Sysmic rims were squealing and complaining about the side loads I was applying.

Since they have 6 years and probably 1500 miles of use I figure it was time to replace them. When I removed two of the six were somewhat tight and one was seized (yikes!). It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Plus cost was only about $10.

Additionally, since I bought a used PL suspension buggy (thanks Larry!) with unknown use I determined that I would replace all the bearings, replace all the hardware, strip and repaint the 2-piece rims, replace the tires with 4-ply trailer tires ($20 each), replace the side rails (thanks Kent!), add footpeg grips, and add a mud-flap! Pimp that buggy!

These are the bearings from the PL axles (one was seized!)

All the bearings I replaced:

The rims and tires (installed the tires myself!):

The mudflap is to prevent this from happening!

Nice pictorial contribution iPaul! Outstanding. I'm a big fan of the mud flap too. Ride is finely pimped at this point! BTW, I believe you are shorting yourself two plies on those tires; they're 6-ply, not a mere 4-ply. I like those rims; very sturdy looking and cool in an industrial sort of way. I look forward to seeing this buggy in the flesh sooner than later.
