I am looking for a good land kite to give me some workout in low-mid windows, 10-15mph. But I would also like to use it if I go to the mountains for
some snow riding.
Any advice for a kite that would do 90% land kiting and 10% snow kiting?

Literally any depower kite of the right size for you.
I use a 15m lei in these conditions for landboarding and snowkite
I personally prefer lei for snowkite rather than foils, as I have had an easier time drying it after a wet and snowy session.
I also personally don't fly anything with handles so I can't recommend anything that's not depower, I was injured by a 5m ozone haka(fixed bridle) and
gave up on fixed bridle kites for power kiting. I don't recommend kite jumping as it's just too easy to get seriously hurt.

I am actually preferring a de power kite as preparation for trying kitesurfing next summer.
I also am only looking for a bar, no handles
Any recommendations for a good but not overpowering depower kite for my conditions and also for snow?

If you are going to eventually move to water buy a relatively cheap depower foil kite. About 10m. Knowing you will have to go LEI for water.
Hopefully you get all your crashing done with the foil so can buy a decent LEI or 2.

Wouldn't a 10 m foil (even de-powered) be way too strong? I tried a 10m LEI last summer at a beach and it pulled me like there was no tomorrow even in
12mph.

Foils pulling a lot more is really only applicable to the fixed bridle kites.
What size kite you need depends on your size and skill level.
In 10-15mph I fly a 15m lei for atb and snowkite but as a beginner I wouldn't recommend something that size.nph - 17-11-2020 at 09:09 PM

Live inland and have winds of 10-15mph and weigh 185 lbs.
Also looking for recommendation of de-power foil kites as well.
Would any snow kite work or are some easier to fly and more all round for non snow flying as well?
Can I use a harness made for water/LEI flying?

Inland winds are often very Gusty and erratic (hence my name), be careful.
HQ makes good foil kites that are more affordable, ozone and flysurfer make great kites of all kinds if you want to pay more. Ozone will even make
custom colors and graphics for additional cost.
They don't really necessarily make snowkite specific foils, they are more all around weather, you'll have to research what's available in your price
range, but do try to stay away from things described as advanced/explosive/c-kite in their marketing, those aren't terms that are beginner friendly.
Yes you can use any harness you like, if you want a good waist harness I can't recommend the ride engine brand enough, though for snow I use the ozone

Inland winds are tricky. If flying inland, I often size for the gusts and manage the lulls. I know you want to jump but big, high A/R, efficient
jumping wings aren't great in inland winds. Lower aspect ratio kites like the HQ Apex or Ozone Pure would be safer to learn on but may be less fun
once you advance. i haven't flown any of the single skins and can't comment on their inland abilities but they do seem like they could take more

The harness doesn't care where you are. The only likely issue is how it would fit with winter clothing.

You don't need a harness for any kiting activities but they are defiantly helpful as you progress and extend your sessions or go the depower route.
You can definitely use that kite to figure out if you like it. I have my personal best speed skiing record on a 2.5 (52mph).
