OK as a follow up to my review on racekites...the pansh 5.5 Legend....well this thing has a lot of power in 17 mph gust...I broke my strop and kite
killer bungee......damn it....well it has a problem that maybe someone already knows how to fix...this thing loves to overfly..thats how I got
bit.....it will go to the zenith and then some and then flop forward and luff down to the power area and chomp!!!! especially when I am strapped
in..so basically I could not connect it to my harness for it would go further than the zenith and poop out......so I had to connect in the buggy which
ended up making me overpowered, going backward and hello turf, let me introduce you to the back of my head, wham!!!
some body help me please..
I have power rings that are about 14 inches long.....so now what??

Shorten your break lines by moving up a knot on the break bridle. There should be knot on each bridle approx 2 inches up from the knot your currently
using. If your using the last knot on the bridles, tie a series of knots on each break leader at the handles in one inch intervals. Trim the breaks in
by moving back on the knots (evenly on both leaders) until your overfly is eliminated. Make sure any knot you tie is even on both sides whether at the
bridle or handle leaders. 14 inch power rings are too long for a 5 meter kite. Try shortening them to 5 to 6 inches!

Well, the Legend is supposed to be along the lines of a race kite if I remember correctly, Most race kites will behave as you're describing if you
don't react faster than the kite.
But the power and speed is sooooo worth it.

it sounds like its front stalling at the edge of the window.....
a complete cure is to lengthen the center 4 A bridles . the inside 2 by 4cm and the next 2 by 2 cm

Dan - playing around with the brake line lengths might do it - having the brake lines slightly shorter may do the trick and stop it from overflying.
Personally I don't like to fly with the brake lines tighter than needed since in stronger wind when you get it up to the zenith (it will not go as far
to the zenith with the brake lines shorter), it will be producing more pull even though you're tring to park it up high presumably to take a rest or
get into the buggy. It's not as much of an issue in lighter winds.
The easiest thing to do if this is the tendency of the Legend is to watch as it gets close to the point where you don't want it to overfly and start
to pull in the brakes slightly - you'll find a point where you can balance the tendency to keep flying forward and you'll be able to stop it moving
forward - takes a bit of practice, and also more user input to keep it where you want.
I've noticed the Blaze has this tendency, although the Legend is supposed to be less of a race kite than the Blaze, and even Pansh don't sell the
Blaze as a 'race kite' - that's their AirLink (to answer Pablo's question)
If it's a set up issue try posting on racekites.com - there's plenty of people on there with Legends, and I bet they'll be able to tell you if this
is normal or a set up issue for the kite.
Cheers,

I saw your post over on RaceKites ... looks like you've got some answers too... more brake seems to be the consensus so far...
