**Edit. Picket up a hornet to play with... Thanks all !
So I sold all my gear a couple years ago and want to get back into flying just static four line foils. To my surprise there's hardly anywhere selling
them, at least that I can find. My favorite was the flexifoil rage series and those are discontinued apparently. I don't even see a sting available
anywhere. The only thing I've been able to find new that isn't shipping from China is the HQ alpha series / beamer series. Does anybody have any
suggestions on other places to look? I'm just looking for something or maybe a couple of things in the 1.5 to 2.5 /3m range. Back in the day there
used to be plenty of stuff used on eBay but I've scoured that and haven't found anything hardly. I did find a 3.5 m alpha on there that I snagged
yesterday but otherwise it's pretty dry.
Any advice?

I'm not sure if Flexifoil is still in business. You might check ebay for used kites.

unfortunately I think all the manufacturers have discontinued their four line foils. Depower foils are all that's left. I think most of the tube
kite manufacturers still have some kind of trainer kite though. If I recall there are only two options left. Prism might still make one or two four
line foils and Pansh still makes plenty. Surprisingly Pansh quality has become quite good in the last 10 years and might be worth checking out.
Also might want to keep an eye out on estate sales. The kites have to go somewhere when people expire. Hopefully they don't go in the dumpster . Another option would be to go to SOBB since you're in Oregon. Some of the guys
there might be able to help you out.
Hope that helps :cool2:

I had forgotten all about Pansh. Thanks I will check them out

Pansh may have gotten better though they are always controversial.
I have a Pansh Genesis 3M, which can be flown with handles or a bar. It is my go to kite for high wind with my buggy. PistolPete did a post about a
simple mod to the mixer which makes it fly much better. It's just a rearaangement of the mixer lines, nothing more.

Flexifoil may or may not have the 2.4 Sting for sale if they do another batch. They appear to be transitioning from being a kite company:

Kent is the last man standing in the kite world. Beamer and Hornet are still solid. Cross Kites Quattro is also an option:

The Flux is a solid option for a well behaved buggy kite. Good for well powered up and will run 30+mph in a buggy:

Also that's Kent's phone number at the top of his page and you can text him to chat.

I regret selling my quiver of rages. Especially since they apparently don't make them anymore. Oh well, out with the old and with the new....

I'd let my Flex Rage 4.7 go if your interested. It's in perfect shape, dm for pics.

What are you looking for? I have a lot of Fixed Bridle Kites I'd be wiling to sell. 2,3 &4M HQ Crossfire, 8M Toxic.
Anything in my sig could be considered. I'm getting too old for the powerkite side of the sport.

I have to borrow a Hornet but luckily, I'm married to it's owner. You'll want to keep that one! Have fun...
