OK. Newbie question...
What's the deal with Kite size. I will soon be buying a kite. Probably a tube type for landboarding and kitesurfing multi-use. I weigh 70kgs. I
want lots of lift and I don't want to have to upgrade when I get more flying hours in.
Any advice.

If you have no traction experience, you need to get a small trainer for kite surfing. This will help you to learn the kite and learn the de-power of
the kite. Next we move on to the kite itself. Just about the only choice for land and water at the moment would be the peter lynn guerilla. It is
an inflatable foil. The whole foil inflates. If you get an air bladder kite, you are very likely to break it during land use. This is not the case
with the other kite. There are a few others, flysurfer, many different models of arcs from peter lynn. Really though, if you want something that is
reasonable, go for the guerilla. I would recommend learning with something smaller though. What you get into with learing with a big kite is that
you have to get out in such small winds that it is very hard to keep the kite flying. When you do get into enough wind, you have to try and learn to
fly the kite while learing to deal with power at the same time. This is very difficult. You need to have very good control over the kite first so
you can worry about dealing with power when it comes. I hope this helps a bit. As far as size, depends again on weight, windspeed, and experience.
Experience will go a lot further than you think for holding power. Moreso than weight.
