I have a Bullet 1.5 that flies well with the original lines although one does have a small knot in it. Now that I am using this kite to learn to fly
with a harness I was thinking of getting new lines. The colored ozone lines on my other kite are really nice and I plan to get those. The original
lines are 20m (66ft) 200lb and 300lb. Ozone has similar lines. I was wondering what would be the effect of using longer lines? Will that change the
performance of the kite? I use a bar when flying.

Longer lines will give you a bigger window to generate power but the kite will be a bit slower to react.
Knots in lines are a problem. They create a severe weak spot and could snap under load.

Definately heed the warnings above about NOT tying KNOTS in lines....
get or make some extensions and add them to your existing lines.
when making lines, splice the ends. the parallel ZIG ZAG stitch is not as strong.
