Canuck,
I sent you a U2U. I was suggesting that you ( and all kite skiers ) take a look at the Coyote Rollerblades. I am having a blast on mine and think they make a pretty good cross-over in the summer.

The Coyote blades look good but the wheel size is small (9" I think).
How do they run on grass or sand?

I am truly amazed at how stable they feel on grass. Even awfull and uneven stuff. Unfortunately they suck on sand. Our field was once sand dunes and I have found that if I'm moving along I can plow through the sandy bits o.K.. If I'm going slow I stop dead. Haven't tried them on our semi-hard beach but I expect they will fail. I'll have to give them a try at Sunset beach this weekend.

I think the wheels are more like 4 inch and not too wide. 3 of them placed close together so they run over some amazingly rough terrain. Not perfect but a lot of fun if you kiteski and have a field to run in.
