Blaze 2 10m

I met a fellow at or local park a couple of weeks ago working it out on his 3m trainer. I mentioned Pansh kites to him as a cheap option to look at. His main focus is back country snow kiting so we talked about de-power and it's advantages.
I showed up today and he had his kite ! A 10m Blaze 2 Straight out of the package. I sure DO LOVE those graphics! Turns out Pansh doesn't include a manual. Not even in Chinglish.
Only owning a fixed bridle he had it backwards + on the complete wrong knots. The leader lines didn't have knots on them making his confusion understandable. Hooked it up right and it was off. At that point the wind was low but it flew very well. Not generating much power but flying and it was only about 4kts. The wind slowly picked up over about an hour as the new fellow got used to the de-power and how to work it. It got up to about 14 / 16 kts and the perfect winds for the size. It was amazingly stable even at the lowest of winds. The thing turns way faster than my P2. Turns like a 7 ! The depower took him right out of the overpowered stage when the winds picked up. I think we played for 2 1/2 hours or so and he's flying this thing like he owns it. He went home very tired and happy that I snuck out of work early !!!

He's happy with his purchase and knows that this is just a kite to learn on. (He has a North Foil on order.) I was very impressed with his abilaty to take to depower straight from a 3m airush trainer. The way the wind slowly picked up couldn't have been better!

For an entry priced kite. This kite performs well enough for anyone to take it out at any level of skill !!!

+ It looks so COOL in the sky

I say all this and yet I actually think it's important to buy local. The new fellow heard me on that one as well. He ordered the North foil, bought his harness and bar at the local shop. :cool2:
