After that I got lost, who from what and where, so much wind and dust in my eyes, it burns. Rain droplets appeared (in the middle of the desert???).
Who won with what kite....????????? (ask the organizers). In fact, it really did not matter if the guy spent $100 or $1000 for his kite and/or buggy,
it did not matter if it was a 0.8 or a 12m kite or a full race buggy from a basic 3 wheeler, what matter was said by Mr. Peter Lynn after the race :
IT WAS FUUUUUUUNN.
From the spectators stand point of view :
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND AMAZING.
On a different note, safety first. As I witnessed an accident (less funny).
I just ran and helped a rider re-aligned his "bowtied" 3.5 Flexifoil Bullet, while the rider remained in his buggy (I noticed that he was
not wearing an helmet). As he took off, one of his friend reached me with an helmet under his arm, telling me that such was for him, and that he
walked all this way to help him and to give him the safety device. Few minutes later, the rider on his way back, flipped the buggy, just like a
pancake, not even 10 yards away from where his friend was still standing, still holding the helmet under his arm.
The rider is fine, thanks God, they now have a good story to tell friends and relatives about "the helmet....... on your head, please".
