Has anyone tried the gateskate for kiteskating?
(www.gateskate.com) looks like it might be a good alternative to the coyote or crosskate.

This appears to be the same company that Skynasaur worked with years ago. Looks like they have improved the wheels, but the rest is about the same.
I tried it once and thought that I would fall off of the platform no matter how tight I adjusted them to my shoe. The prob is that the boot fastens
around your street shoes providing a very flexible base.
They are also very low to the ground making it hard to cut hard against the kite or go over bumps/holes etc.
My opinion is... they are fine for the weekend warrior who wants to skate slow and easy on a flat surface. For this use, I think the price is too
high.
However, I remind myself that their intended use is off-road skating and not kite skating.
Thanks for posting the gear info.
