Overall:
See my review for the Flexi Rage 2.5. Its just a big old thing oozing the quality and reliablity Flexifoil are known for; teamed with the quality of
service by the UK shop PowerKiteShop.com its a winning purchase!
The bag is large; and regardless of wether you fold up the kite badly (for those dam windy days where the sails wrapping all over you); or if you tie
it up good and tight; it fits easily. And when you get it in there tightly; theres room. I mean I'm living at my mates house at the moment, and went
home the other day; and came back (with the kite) and enough clothes for 3 days, and a few other little bits and bobs. All in that same bag.
Light winds:
The kite is just so damn stable! I flew it in winds of 2mph; maybe 4mph if you're feeling optimistic. And it held true at the edge of the window; and
even had enough pull to move my feet across the floor a little bit (im 75kg ish). Its just such a great kite to fly in light winds, very little
lufting; and will loop without any trouble.
Medium winds (10mph ish):
Ideal; i love flying this kite between 8 and 15mph winds. Its got shed loads of power; but its quite hard to get out of shape with it. The handles
need a fair bit of power; but not so much you feel like you'll break ya wrists, even in high winds. I get loads of lift with pendulum stylee jumps
with it. Hardly any work will honk ya up a fair bit; around 12mph i was getting about 10-12 feet in the air. And it wont drop ya out of the air unless
you make a mistake, or the wind dies; although there is a bit of parachute effect.
High Winds (15mph+):
Imagine holding onto handles, which you're strapped to; which is attached to a plane. Which is instantly at top speed. Thats about the best way to
describe it. BUT, its still damn stable, and GREAT fun!
Value For Money:
I got mine for £442.95 complete. AWESOME! From the amount of fun ive already got from it, i'd pay that much!
Rating:
I would give this kite a 10/10. Its the best kite ive ever flown.

Great review 5m! I'm looking forward to trying a 6.5m out

Nice review 5m! I would imagine the 6.5 is awesome in 15 mph+ winds. Thats just about the happy spot where the 4.9 starts to get interesting! Theres a
nice video review of the series IV 6.5 on you tube and RK. If I might add, a line upgrade to Ozone 360 kgs is a good idea. I did that on my 4.9. I
felt the flexi line set just wasnt strong enough to handle all that power, but again thats just me. Enjoy and fly safe!

Yeah, i have the extreme flexi ones; but they're still only 250kg. They're strong enough, i cant see me breaking them, but you can never complain for
having lines which are too strong.
The other thing is, im not running this on a harness at the moment; cause my old one got fooking stolen!!! So at the moment, i can't fly this for any
decent amount of time before needing a rest. I'm going to get a harness; and then i'll post how i find it; with the load taken off my arms.
