where is buggy camp?

Dagon - 23-8-2007 at 10:52 AM

I was gonna fly up, rent a car and plan on camping at buggy camp but I dont know where this is. I will have a tent and sleeping bag and I plan on just finding somewhere to camp with all you buggiers.
Does this sound like a good idea or will I end up sleeping in my car?

Sounds workable, Just be sure to get an address before you leave, my directions last year involved "It's the house with the thunderbird windsock". Didn't help that we showed up after dark and they didn't put the windsock up yet.

Dellmoor Loop Road Half way around then look for the buggier s on the east side of the road, or keep your window down and follow the grilled oyster smell. If you get there in the daytime come to Sunset Beach, or call the Mayor (Jim Vaughn) of Sunset Beach, or stop by the local kite shop in Seaside and ask.

Is everyone welcome at buggy camp? ... I sent you a message Jon, but I just want to confirm...
I'd rather stay in buggy camp if possible...

There is limited space available but we should be able to accommodate a Portland buggier.
I just talked with Phil and he not only has a porta-potty on site but niow he has a dumpster for our garbage. If you do camp at Phil's Acres (buggy camp) we must express concern over loudness after 11pm because of homes nearby. Phil has expenses, power, water, garbage service and so on, so if you stay at buggy camp please donate $ so we will be welcome again. Just like camping anywhere please leave the camp as nice as you found it.

Should add that we really need to keep the glow in the dark potatoes off his neighbors shed roof.

If I'm not on the beach I can usually be reached at either 503.861.1083 or 503.791.1136

Pablo all we need is a sack of potato's and the cannon is ready. For night artillery we use glow stick juice along with our potato's.

alright if you can't promise to keep him hurt free can you at least make sure he gets back across the border? lol

My heart is there running on the beach and taking pictures of the action, I know the weather will be better there then here, but someone has to get the kids to the first day of school on Tuesday. And for sure I will be back again in July.... yes a life time away *sigh*

I can hear the waves crashing on the shore and the wind wining through the sales..... have fun!

Lawrence Wichman will arrive Monday, noon.

I met most of you at NABX 2006. Sunset Jim I'd met 2 years prior ( my first time in a buggy! thanks Jim! )

I'm driving from Seattle, and have to be back at work Thursday AM. Look for my full-size Ford van with cargo box.

Good winds coming our way!
