So I had my 1st buggy run today. More difficult than I thought! Once I got going though it was all worth it.
I have a Kite Trike with standard wheels, the sand I ride on is rippled low tide soft sand. Once I get going I am ok. The problem is sinking in during
turns and starting out.
Without spending a fortune any ideas on replacement wider wheels? Can you fit a wider wheel on the 3" rims? I know Bigfoots are out there but the
price!!!:o
I aired down and that did help but there is only so much air in the tire!
Thanks

I would imagine there is some other type of wheel you can use. dont know about average buggy tire size or the cost of bigfoot wheels but what about
wheelbarrow tires. I think the pneumatic ones are $30 a piece but you could probably get them cheaper somewhere.

Bigfoot lights can be made for the back for cheap, I think you can get them for $37usd a tire and they'll fit a standard rim, inntertubes make the
mounting a hell of a lot easier though.
For the front, lots of stock forks can take up to a 6" wide tire, you'll have to look and see how much room is left with the standard 16x4 tire in
there, if you have an inch on either side you're in business. For the front, find something that sits a lot squarer than the stock tire, it'll give
you more surface area in the footprint. Bigfoots will fit a standard 8" rim and fit the back no problem on pretty much any buggy.
1stoptire has the nanco 21x12x8 2 ply slicks for $45 each delivered.

1StopTire, 21x12x8 Nanco 2 ply slicks, $45 delivered in the USA, I'm told there's cheaper out there, but this is what you're after for the back, they
should have something in the right size for the front there as well.
