You know what? Rain in the forecast for today. So what. With rain comes wind! I have been waiting to long to let a little rain stop me! I have rain
gear. The only problem I have found with flying in rain is that the kite gets pretty heavy when wet. Makes control alot slower and seems to drag a
bit. But if the wind is good it wont stay wet for long and it will still fly! See ya in the rain.

Not to be"Anti-social" but dont move here unless you likes lots more rain & who knows what about wind, "Real Oregonians
never ask what the weather is going to be, they just wait 5 minutes for the next change"

Dam, that was one option Oregon! I know it always rains there I just was not sure about the wind. What part do you live in?
Pdxnebula - 10-11-2007 at 05:00 PM
SE Portland & just came from the airport beach with the Buster... Wind peaked at 2:00pm at 3mph... had it in the air maybe 5 minutes out
of 2 hrs... & thats the most its been today except this morning while it was still raining before 7:00am otherwise then it was 15mph... But its
the weekend so I sleep in just a little... Oh well picked up some new dirt on the kite after washing it lastnight... So not a total waste...

lol.

Rain isn't the problem, I'll fly the Buster II's and leave the wingtip zips open a hare so the water has somewhere to drain out, Works great if you've
got enough winds. I'm sure you could put a small patch on each tip and melt a small drain hole through them if you wanted to as well.
The problem I'm having today isn't the rain, it's the 30mph gusting to 55mph winds. I'm not quite sure what you'd use in that. Possibly a small arc.

Can you send some wind down here? We haven't had any for ages now...

C-Quads have no issues with rain from what I understand.
