Well I am going to Hollywood california on next sat. the 24th. To pick up my buggy! 8hrs. one way! Long day but very excited. Got a good deal also. So
is this a good starter buggy? what is the best surface to ride this on? Lots of rice fields around here but kinda bumpy. There is a run way that the
crop dusters use I was thinking about trying it there but I don't know about starting out on asphalt. There is going to be somewhere I will stop on
the way home to try out first. Can someone help? I will be comming back from Los Angles sat. the 24th so around 2-3pm. Is someone going to be in my
path? Any suggestions as to who an where would be great! KYTESLINGER are you going to be around? I don't know anyone else that way so HELP! I have a
week before I go so I'll see what I get THANKS ALL. Sthrasher
P.S.
Post all suggestions please.

16 hours round trip?! Yikes- Must have been one hell of a deal!!
I bought the same buggy about 6 weeks ago. Do a search for Kite Trike on this forum and you will see all the issues owners have had.
The 2 most important things are:Replace the seat buckles! The original are made of cheap metal which will break at the worst time~ I'd say 20 mph or
above according to Murphys law.
Buy some ladder buckles at a camping store [$5] and get some heavy duty zip ties for added security. I now have total confidence in my seat.
Secondly: The front wheel assembly is tricky to adjust. I found if you tightened the nuts enough to secure the wheel it restricts the wheel rotation.
If you loosen the nuts too much well... how good are you at riding wheelies?
I have a new set of bearings coming [$5 on ebay} and I am going to try a washer or two to see if that solves the issue. It almost seems the forks bend
a little when you tighten the nuts. Surface rust is almost impossible to not get if you ride in salt air conditions.
Now the good: yes, there is good! The buggy rides great, nice and stable and feels very solid. You have to find a good center of gravity with the seat
position and neck extension to get good slides turning. I am 6'6" and I found the downtube extended all the way was too long for me to turn properly.
The pouch on the rear of the seat is great for storage. I added another bag for additional storage. Buy a splash guard from Angus at Wind of
change.com and you will look and feel good! It even matched my bag!
This is my first buggy so I do not have a comparison. Would I buy another one? If I can solve this front wheel issue then yes. I paid $230 with
shipping for mine and I will ride it till the wheels fall off.. oops, bad choice of words! Hope this helps you out.

if you have some extra time on your hands take a side trip to Pismo beach ...... WIDE and long but stay so. of the pier {city owned}and about 3-4mile
down or when ever the creak run off starts.... after that it's sate beach and a whole new set of rules...
If the tide right and I not at a kite making retreat stop by and we'll get a a few runs in before you need to get back home

Thanks to both of you. I will try to make it there. Good little tips on the bug also.
