Help please

I want to get a quad line powerfoil and have a dilemma. It seems that design plays as big of a role as size when it comes to how much a kite pulls. I currently own a dual line 3 meter speedfoil (Premier Kites) and I love it. I am looking for a quad line that will generate more pull (so far the 3 meter has only pulled me off balance a few times). I was looking at the Beamer 3.6 or 5 (budget is a consideration), but would something like a Lil Devil or a Bullet in a smaller size generate as much pull as the Beamer 5?

Thanks for the help,
Kevin

Oh, I weigh about 210 lbs.

I would recommend the Lil' Devil 4.5 or the similar-sized version of the Bullet. Either of these are good buggy kites that produce good power from moderate breezes. I weigh 185, so you might consider upping these sizes to fit your 210-lb weight. Best advice, however, is attend a buggy event, and try before you buy. Sprang Thang is coming up, at El Mirage Dry Lake... Salt Lake City ain't THAT far off!

Also, the San Ramon festival is this weekend, and I know a few buggy pilots will be there... likely one of them's got a Lil' Devil or a Bullet.

Good luck in your search... please post your results!
