The "Coast 2 Coast" ProFoil 3.5mē had its maiden "Pacific" flight today, starting in S.C. as Tridude, can atest to, then ending up in its new quiver, in OR. where it went for its 1st "Pacific" flight, & performed with all the Power, Lift & Grunt, I've come to love about the Profoil kites...

Lost track of all the times I had to park it(& it parks beautifully) to give my arms a rest...

Or rest it at the edge or top of the window, where it would just sit & wait to be told what to do next, then it did exactly what it was asked...

Ended up flying in the lower range of what TriD mentioned, in his review... 12-15mph or so, another couple mph & would have been running out of beach quickly, with the offshore NE Winds, & all the People who couldnt stay back out of the way...

If I'dve really got lifted a few people would've been run over...

Otherwise, It's Sweet kite... Very Up & Down winds today, & found out how touchy the Profoils can be with uneven lines...

Had to sort out the Right/Left/Power/Brake in thier optimum setup for either ProFoil to fly on the one set of 100' 300/100lb set of lines, I have for both... Hook em up Switched in any way besides the way they've been flown on & strecthed... RightPower/LeftPower RightBrake/LeftBrake

Knowing the lines have stretched... But NOT knowing how much until today, & Having to get them sorted out in the order they've stretched... Both kites would fly like their right wing tips were full of lead & just flop & flip & twist in agony...

With the lines hooked up properly, Both the 1.5mē & 3.5mē will fly on the same set & tear up, the sky with their speed, agility & power...

nice pics PDX--looks almost as good over your pond as it did over mine! Looks lilke you did a mod to the handle leaders.

Flying both ProFoils on 1 longer set of handles, & modded all 3 sets of handles I have with 7mm Paracord, Powerlines/Brakelines/Brakeloops & all... ProFoil handles came 12-1/2" or so but have another 13-14" set & now Paracord leaders on all the handles, with loops, sweet stuff, at 3.69$ for 50'
