I currently have orange eggshocks on both front and back on my comp26x.
My buddy purchased the same board off ebay and it didn't come with any eggshocks.
I would like to increase my ability to turn more easily. Would it be better to remove (if I remove them, would it be safe) them completely or buy
yellow ones??
I usually use it to kiteboard on hard grass, the playa or hard packed sand. I'm about 218lbs and stay < 20mph.
Comments/thoughts.
Thanks.

From what I know...and it aint much... I would keep shocks in (yellow would make it easier to turn, orange is better for speed). I recently put orange
shocks in my board, and it is harder to turn, but feels MUCH more stable. Being new to boarding, I want stable. With no shocks at all, the board was
extremely responsive, to the point of unwanted input. I also have the red shocks, but find the orange just fine, I imagine they will soften up a bit.
you can get the shocks from mbs.com for 10 bucks a set, give the yellow ones a try, let me know what you think.
By the way, I ride on grass, and weigh 190 pounds. Happy Kiting.

Hey dy,
Yep, with more time under my feet, I agree with your assessment. I ended up buying the yellow and red and now ride the yellow 100% of the time. I
love the turning and my max is usually about 15mph. Maybe I'll try to hit 20 at Nabx at which point I might change to the orange.
Thanks for the reply and Happy Kiting to you as well!

Don't try to go to fast with soft eggshocks, you will get speed wobble. At 30 mph it's not any fun. If you get speed wobble try to shift your weight
more to your lead foot. That will usually make them go away.
