I'm looking for some opinions on the PL Arc 1120. I'm thinking about picking one up for cheap used. Any idea on wind ranges? Safety on the older kite
crap compared to newer kites? Thanks!

I own ( and am selling for $100 ) the F-arc from the same year. I have never flown the S-arc but understand it is a far more friendly kite. It is
wider so relaunches easier than my F-arc. All arcs take some getting used to launching and landing. The early ones even more so. I found the tendancy
to bow tie frustrating. The 1120 seemed a lot slower and more user friendly than the F-arc and that's a good thing. I found it to be very fast and
lifty. :o
I met and talked to a fellow when he was flying the 1120. He liked it a LOT. This was a couple of years ago mind you.
I wouldn't pay more than $100 for one in perfect shape. $125 - 150 with a bar. If you buy this kite and like it. You will then know that you will LOVE
say ..... a Scorpian. and I've seen them going for $600 :wow:

They pull alot more on the launch to the zenith, alot more but itwas a sweet kite in its time. I agree with snowbird on the price. You will love one
of the newer models though..........aj

I wish I could afford the newer models! I'm in High School so I'm crunched for cash, but I still want to get out and ride. I think an older kite will
suit me just fine. Besides, if I can get used to the older kites, flying on newer kites will be easy. I u2u'd you Snowbird.
