I am looking for a Kite Club in the PNW I am a fairly good flyer, but just learning to use my board. I would like to find a club that gets together at
least once a month I live in Tacoma, WA would be willing to travel up to Canada and as far down as Mid Oregon Coast for weekend or day get togethers
If anyone knows of a club please let me know if not I would be willing to help others start one.

Sunset beach Oregon has a real following. Folks come up from Portland as well. It is a bit of a drive but possibly the best crew and location near you

Driving to Vancouver for kiting in the winter would be a bit of a waste. The lowest tides of the day are in the middle of the night, so Boundary Bay
is pretty wet, wait for the spring and summer months when neap tides are during daylight hours. Garry Point Park where we often fly is currently
flooded leaving only a very small space for buggying and boarding.
For more information about the Vancouver area land kite scene and people check out url=http://www.powerkitecanada.com]PKC[/url]
Despite its national name PKC is really a local Vancouver forum. Most of the material is who is doing what in the Lower Mainland.
