2 kite quiver

lunchbox - 17-12-2007 at 11:46 AM

My buddies interested in landboarding and wants to purchase some kites (as few as possible, however). Most of the time he'll be kiting at inland parks and then sometimes at the beach and El Mirage. He weighs about 225lbs.

I was thinking it might be possible for him to just buy two kites.

I was thinking a Rage 4.7 for 7-16mph and then maybe an Ozone Access XC 6m for 13-25mph. I was also wondering about the Bularoo 7 or 10, Flysurfer Pulse 2 or Scorpion.

Set up time is important as well as turning speed.

There will probably be people suggesting bigger depowerables because of his weight, but my concern is the turning speed.

Whatcha think?

your wind range is easily do-able with Flysurfer Speed2 15m for lowend and Psycho3 or Pulse2 for higher.

we will have a repaired Speed2 15m for sale shortly.

or you could do the 1.5 mod on the Speed1 13m listed in the classifieds to save alot of money

or the PL Phantom 12m in the classifieds is a Great Buy !!!
