Hi All,
I purchased a Beamer III 4 meter and am curious if I can use a control bar with it. If so, do I have to make any modifications? I want to fly it as
a stunt kite with the control handles that come with it and then put a control bar on it so my son and I can learn how to kite board.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Jimmy

Yes. I own a Beamer III as well. While I've never flown it on a bar I was told by an HQ rep (via this forum) that it could be flown just as well on
a bar as on the handles. HQ offers the bar that comes with the Beamer TSR, as an accessory as well.

Thanks for the quick reply! I wonder if you have to modify the lines to get it to work with the bar. The shop that I got my Beamer III from wasn't
sure if the lines have to be changed or not.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Pretty much a straight swap with no changes needed, besides adjusting your brake tension for current conditions (looser in lighter winds).
You can add a D-Loop (like what comes with Beamer TSR) if you want to use it with a harness.
