thought I shared my design in case you need to build one. If anyone has some suggestions for improvements or seat back designs of their own they
like please chime in.
I have built several seat backs over the last decade for my Peter Lynn Comp and XR buggies. My latest design works with the XR seat. It's simple to
build and easy to put on and take off and looks good too. It's made of 7 mil dacron, 1/4" lumina, 1/2" foam with 1" nylon webbing sewed around the
edges which holds it all together. There are two D rings on the bottom where the seat straps to the axle go through. It's the right width so the big
straps on the seat when crossed to the other side hold it nicely upright in place. Look me up at NABX to check it out.

Sorry no plans to sell any in the near future. After I give it the NABX test and get a couple other opinions I'll maybe do that.
A home sewing machine could build one of these. I added images of my crude templates in the original post, the dacron covering is 11" wide x 17"
high, and foam and wood insert 9 1/4" wide by 15 1/2" high. The straps that hold the D rings on you don't sew down to the edge as you'll need to
flip them up when sewing the bottom trim piece on. Use a compass to make a nice circular end which will be easier to sew the 1" nylon webbing around
verses sharper corners.
Have some seatbacks made up.

Wasn't going to build any right away but then we had a couple cold snaps here in Ohio where I was a house bound on a couple weekends. So I made up
a few of the seat backs up. Yeah I know ... no advertising in the forums. You can find my site by clicking on my profile, look in the buggy
