Quadrafoil XXXL pics modded by powerzone

finally had a chance to try out the XXXL after powerzone modded it. The kite is awesome.

He added:
Flysurfer FDS
Inflate/Deflate Zipper
Opened up the Intakes
Depower system similar to a FS Speed II

Almost fully inflated

Looks great! What size is the XXXL? 10m?

yep 10m. or about 8.66m projected

The XXXL is 9.66m flat and 8.52m projected. I have a brochure from 1999.

Looks good. Come over to Cocoa Beach to ride.

I'd love too...unfortuneatly I'm only at Lido Key until next monday. Then its back to washington. I'd really like to find a place to rent a board around here since I just brought my kite. I have a skimboard with me but I'm a little nervous to try that since I haven't actually taken any kites to the water yet.

side note :

actually, the mixer system is a modified Speed/pulse/psycho2 hybrid... the attachment point and bridle spacing did not warrant for a full speed2-like mixer. there is lots of adjustment built into it though, so it can be tweaked for years to come.

as with any foil mod, the kites original design and construction and profile has to be considered when depowering... can't just add a UDS and expect it to work....

anyways, glad you're stoaked on the XXXL Christian !... it was a fun project.

it wasn't around $220 after everything was all said and done.
