i think someone has brought this up before, but is their a proper way to hook up handles to a harness, and just looking for suggestions.

Do a search for "strop" and "wichard" - you'll find tons of info. I've set up just like this great PK member taught me ; )

Imagine the ends of the rope tied into the backside of the tops of the handles - you'll find tons of posts about this.

I'm not one for all captive all the time as with this ( very good, very popular ) wichard / pulley set-up.
I have been trying to find a non lethal way to incorperate a release on the strop . In this phase it is a wichard and D ring. This way I can hook in
and out on just a spreader bar and Q.R. the strop on the off chance I get caught up. I don't like this though and am looking at other options. I
actually put together one of those poor mans ones using a cotter pin that I posted but haven't had a chance to try it. Looks like it may do the job.

easier and a non-captive method is to use a roller spreader bar - easy peasy
