too bad it cant go upwindBeamerBob - 25-1-2008 at 03:48 AM
Did you notice he had "bridled" his umbrella in version 2? I guess the wind was folding the umbrellas inside out.Bladerunner - 25-1-2008 at 08:30 AM
I thought the same thing about the umbrella sizes !
It looks like the one fellow is figuring out how to trim the broly in and out to get some cross wind performance.
I think they are just lacking DEPOWER !!!

it has depower:
you gotta find a way to block the umbrella in a fix position while you open and close it.BeamerBob - 25-1-2008 at 09:37 AM
those bridles he had on there could be retracted with a stopper ball. It probably isn't very efficient till it is opened up.kullas - 25-1-2008 at 10:02 AM
Or could have a line to open a vent on the back side DenisLaMenace - 25-1-2008 at 11:37 AM
I think we dont have much to do today.
No wind out there !!!!awindofchange - 25-1-2008 at 11:48 AM
It has an auto-depower feature. When the wind hits over 35 the integrated depower system automatically deploys giving you 100% depower and safety.
The umbrella rips itself apart and inverts backwards. :D
Unique system but unfortunately once you deploy the depower system you need to get a new umbrella. LOLmacboy - 28-1-2008 at 06:10 PM
But what about umbrella killers?DenisLaMenace - 28-1-2008 at 06:29 PM

what about this...
just tie a leash between your wrist and the extremity of the umbrella.
let go the umbrella, it will turn around, and the wind will close the umbrella
