Well I can say for sure a kiter was out on an old PL Arc for hours snowkiting this weekend. In 20+ mph winds, and down to 15, and less. Impressive for such an old kite. I'm thinking about keeping my eyes open for one for a high wind kite.

I would have stopped and chatted with him about it, but he just kept moving the whole time!

I think they came out in 02 - 03

It is one of the 1st P.L. arcs. FAR more friendly than the F-arc but P.L. has made some big improvements since then.

It will need a good bit of wind to produce for you.

That's funny I didn't see that PL at Tugg Hill - was it the first day?
I just picked up a Peter Lynn 840 (maybe the same one from EBAY) as starter kite for friends to use and for heavier land use (not sure of LEI on anything but H20 in either phase)

- if you're out at NABX you are welcome to check it out - I am sure more will come up for sale cheap. Christian

I was talking to a fellow this weekend that did a mod to his 840. He imitated the bridle type set-up on the new arcs + added softer spars and he is THRILLED !!

Yeah, that was the first day at the second site, but he was up at the first site earlier in the day.

Check out the Arcusers board on Yahoo, they probably have files on modding it. Let us know how it is!
