Yesterday, I added another vid. to You Tube that shows me launching a 6.5m Blade IV, running a bit in the small dunes and then following my mates
around as they played around on the sabkah (flat plain).

Great video Sand-Yeti!
I spent a few months in Qatar and I was able to visit the dunes a few times.
I should have packed a few kites and a buggy Sand-Yeti - 28-2-2008 at 12:31 PM

Thanks DaVinch,
I get to Qatar (small Gulf state) frequently on business
I find it a bit flat there but would would be interesting to buggy there one day.

Cool in terms of the weather it wasn't just 30 C, which is about 86 F & it's winter here. I buggied this afternoon and temp. was 33 C (91 F).
very pleasant.
Music is from Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons, specifically:
Il cimento dell'Armonia e dell'Invenzione, concertos (12) for solo instrument, strings, and continuo, Op. 8- No. 9 in D minor, RV 236
or just 'Track 9' for short.Sand-Yeti - 28-2-2008 at 12:44 PM

Susan (npw goddess)
Well Susan it would be great to see a Goddess running the dunes .
You are welcome here any time and then you wouldn't have to watch vids but can be in them.
We just have one lady buggier in our little group but she is still learning & it will be a while before she tries to roll around the dunes.
She will get there because she's very keen.
