BeamerBob - 5-3-2008 at 03:55 AM

Now I really feel old. I only ever heard of 8 bands off of both lists! I'll put my list together later.

Vampire Weekend
Art Brut
Los Compensinos!
Kate Nash
Elliot Smith

Architecture in Helinski
Spoon
The Shins
The Pixies

Barnes: I love your list!! Every single one of them is amazing :)
I just can't get into the newer radiohead stuff, i loved ok computer and the bends so much (pablo honey not so much), i dunno the newer albums just didn't do as much for me!

Ben folds + architecture in helsinki and the shins and the new pornographers need to be on my list too :)

I picked up tickets for The Flaming Lips the other day. anyone else a fan of them?

kiteNH - 26-3-2008 at 06:29 AM

Hell yeah. The Lips are awesome. I saw them two summers ago at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA. Excellent show. I'd see them again in a second if they'd go back on tour. I just checked and it looks like only have a couple of tour dates up. Wish they'd come back up my way. They put on a hell of a show and if you haven't seen them you're in for a treat.
