Kite make over size any day of the week. Here is a quick example. You can fly a Macpara Bego 600. This is a 6 meter kite. It will pull from about
4 mph up to maybe about 15-20 when you have to put it up. On the other hand, you can fly a peter lynn guerilla 2, 13 meter. It doesnt really start
pullling until about 10 mph. You can fly it probably up to about 25mph, and this kite is more than half the size of the Macpara.
Here is another exaple.
Macpara bego 400 4 meter
Flexifoil Blade 3 4 meter
Pkd Buster 4 meter
The buster will be about 1/3 faster than the flexi and pull 1/3 less. Also the Pkd makes dynamic lift where the flexi makes some static and some
dynamic lift.
The mac will be about the same speed as the flexi, will pull about 1/3 harder. The mac does produce some dynamic lift, but produces loads of static
lift.
Again, 3 kites the same size, all with differnet characteristics.. You could thrown in a 4 meter ozone razor. Its probably twice as fast as the
other 3, produces little or no lift, and pulls harder than any of the 3 through the power zone.
Kite namebrand or moreso design makes a huge difference in how the kite performs. It really depends on what you want to do with the kite that should
make the decision for you.
