Hey WELDNGOD,
I have to ask...
1. How much does your buggy weigh?
2. What on earth do you use to pull it?
I don't think I have ever seen a buggy with dually's on it. Looks very, very cool. You do realize though to be in true green machine form you would
need to steer with your hands and not your feet.WELDNGOD - 20-3-2008 at 04:58 PM
it is 65 lbs. and I use my 4.7 Rage w/ AAA kit mostly. and I don't know how to fly w/ my feet;-)Sthrasher38 - 23-3-2008 at 09:48 AM
There is an idea for popeye. A buggy that has rear steering. Still controllable from the front. (hum)sodfarmkiter - 23-3-2008 at 11:59 AM
Now that I'd like to see. Rear steeringSthrasher38 - 23-3-2008 at 03:33 PM
I may be on to something there. I need to grap the patent on that do you think it would work? and how well?strictlycarved - 23-3-2008 at 04:21 PM
i think front wheel steering is the best. most stable and with the back wheels being free moving it already helps steer. although a rear steer would
be quite the site to see.NPWfever - 23-3-2008 at 10:38 PM
Have you ever ridden a go kart w/ rear steering?! Your going down the hill nice and fine then WHAM!!!! You don't so much turn, you pivot around the
front wheels. Ride your buggy downhill backwards, you'll see what I mean. It's
a hoot but idk about on a buggy.WELDNGOD - 24-3-2008 at 06:53 AM
That is how forklifts steer,I don't want my buggy to steer like no forklift. That would be really twitchy at speed.popeyethewelder - 24-3-2008 at 01:58 PM

Older designs of ice boat had two fixed skates up front and a single steering skate at the rear. I believe they were very dangerous.
