After an excruciating flight, being in the window seat, wedged in place by 2 HUGE women, I have finally arrived. (Even though my leg was asleep)
Met up with Fran and got the rental car, stopped by to help Corey load out for Elmers, got some supplies, registered @ hotel, eaten, and won a bit of
money.....
Am now in the room on wireless network posting.
We will be going out to the Playa tomorrow AM. The NALSA event is in full swing, so we will stay out of the way and get ready for the Blokart event.
Buggiers are welcome of course and should check in with me or Fran if you need a permit. As long as we stay well clear of the racecourse we should be
able to have some action.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there. We have a white dodge mini-van.

This is my first post on the Forum, although I've been reading since January. My buggy left Lafayette @ 2:00 this morning with two friends that post
on this board and should arrive in the middle of the pre event by tomorrow. Unfortunately, I can only make it out next Friday and a half day on
Saturday, so I'll fly in Thursday night.

Will be out there next Thursday morning and staying through till Sunday but might make it out there sometime over this weekend to

Well,
Today was amazing. We took our time getting out to the lakebed, got set up, talked to some new people. Met Santiago from Spain and Phillippe from
France, great guys. Expecting many more BLokarters from overseas tonight.
Winds came up @2:oo (as usual) blowing from 10-20+ mph, had a blast on the 4 meter, topped out @44 mph, clocked @ 30 miles. Let Santi and Phillippe
take some runs, as their gear was delayed. They were stoked to be here.
The Landsailors are wrapping up and tomorrow we will establish camp.
Terry Crumpler has finally made it to the Playa, Woo-hoo!
Steve Irby came with his son. I am so happy to be here and can't wait for everyone to get here to share the fun.
There is a 400 mile off road race going on as well as the sand drag races. There is an offroad course set up behind Buffalo Bills on Roach. Lots of
offroaders camped out at Jean. A car caught fire on I-15 across the playa. Lots of excitement.
AHHHHHHH Hope we don't use up all of the wind, I'll try to save you some.
AJ- I am at Bufalo Bills this year, no room service.....
Glen- Try to get your ass out here. Call me for the flight Code if you need it.
