I there a Teflon or other such Plastic scudding seat available?
Somthing like a turkey hunters padded seat that stays on a harness buthard and slick?

And that is why I love this forum! I think you could mock something up if you wanted to though. I'll think about it for ya! :D

Maybe if it had Shallow keels it would provide some directional control...

Just give yourself alittle more flying time and you will be off your butt and on your feet in no time.

someone awhile back talked about making scud shoes out of 2 liter drink bottles. Just cut shoe holes out of the top and you have cheap slick shoes to
scud on any surface. Never tried it but it should give a consistent enough pull to be able to scud on grass, something I've never been able to do
consistently. 100 foot scuds on the beach without stopping but grass kills me. Too many psi's on my feet I guess. I wear my Keen sandals. They are
good in and out of the water and give a nice surface to slide on in the sand.

Yup. Pop bottle shoes. You gotta try it - but don't expect to stay on your feet too much. It's mad fun!

I have an old pair of high top cons that I wear when i know im going scudding, I get good 100foot scuds, those things have no grip at all, of course
then a good hotlaunch here and there helps me really get going.

NP "hotlaunch" sounds like such a dangerous thing when you say it.:bisou:
