im looking in buying naish x2 12m, boxer 9,8,6, 2002 and 2003 are these ok kites for vegas winds and for a newbee?

I don't think the Boxer came out until 04 and didn't go 5 line until 05 ?

These kites are hard to give away !!! Folks around here are literally throwing them in the garbage :(
If they aren't fifth line ready ( and I think they aren't in those years ) DON"T BUY THEM expecting to resell !!!

cool glad I didnt win the bid on ebay, thanks for the advise, what do you recommend for me to start on, im fairly good on the buggy flying ozone and flexi foils, but want to get in the water, and considering the gusty winds of vegas which kite would be ideal?

For your budget ....... Waroo or Bularoo, NO CONTEST !

If this set is still available. Go for it !!!!

I've got an almost new 2007 9 meter Naish Boxer SLE complete I'm trying to sell. It would make a perfect land / water kite for someone who wanted to get into the sport. The Boxer is an older mid aspect ratio C-kite. The Boxer SLE is the latest generation SLE/Bow kite, similar to the Waroo but has the one-pump (faster / easier pump up), a convertable 2:1 / 1:1 bar and no battens (easier to pack). My wife flew it a half dozen times and decided she wanted a Bularoo like mine instead. Let me know if you're interested...

definitely have the boxer on board!
super friendly c-kite 16m boxer has been my bread and butter rig. will work in the 12-15mph on the water.
05 i think is when the boxer came out. 5thline set up
i really like the bar size and feel very predictable, STABLE
the V4 was 04 kite for naish now this is a nervous kite very twitchy in neutral but solid pull and stable in >15mph also 5th line set up
this kites are well made but light material.
ATB/WATER WITH THE WHOLE QUIVER
bladder repair/replacement you will need to learn.
they were my intro to kites.
hope this helps
peace
