The NPWbuggy rocks it w/ some new tires!!!

NPWfever - 18-4-2008 at 06:59 PM

Just got these switched on today, a nice change of pace from the 10"X1.5" hard rubber ones I was running. Hopefully I won't get dragged downwind quite so much anymore. Just need to get one for the front tire. Itching for a run now!!!! THERE BETTER BE WIND TOMORROW!!!!! Need to fix that rip in the seat too... :P

what bearings you running?

NPWfever - 18-4-2008 at 07:48 PM

Just standard wheelbarrow tires. Sealed though, so they don't get crap in them. But they work for now cuz I'm not looking to hit 60 in my 300 foot long by 100 foot wide local park. I am comfortable with about 15 right now.

1 3/8 " sealed precision bearings are like 5 bucks a piece. They are way better, you need 2 per tire

The buggy is looking good. It has come along way from where it started

Thanks man! I really like it, it's getting time for some paint though. If it's windy, im riding. If its not, im painting. What colors? I'm thinking orange and yellow since it is the NPWbuggy, and my NPW is orange and yellow. Then like 80 zillion coats of clear.
:)

My 2 fave colors in order and everything... great choice... I'd go just a lil shy of the zillion, closer to trillion helps keep cost down...:puzzled:
Nice job looS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-n better... Tires do alot...

Looking at nice 10-20mph wind today!!!! My close park is rather sheltered, almost like a bowl, so it should be closer to ten and not kill me. SO JAZZED!!!!! :smug:
