Folding PL Screwy Seat Mod

Hey all,

Just got my Folding PL Bug from bugymangp "thanx" :thumbup: great shape,:thumbup: and a solid bug.:thumbup::thumbup: How ever I've heard these seats don't hold up over time. Well I think it will now. There was nothing wrong with it, in fact I think bugymangp had reinforced it once before... I just can't leave well enough alone, and have to mod everything I own. :puzzled: Did that rhyme?:o

So here are some pics of the mods...
All the two inch (larger) straps are the mods...

The strap in the back to hold the side rails from popping off... and front cross strap to keep the others straps from spreading...

the 3 same seats I had always decided to come apart on the back straps that connects the rear axle...... run some 2 inch around the stitching tabs

Well... I just added some stitching in those areas, after I read your suggestion and I'll keep a close eye on it till I come up with another rear strap concept...
