The prime purpose for my GPS is for navigating the deserts in my part of the world.
However, it records all sorts of other interesting stuff that I have been recording for some time now.
This year, in 26 outings (mostly afternoons) I cracked off my first 1000 miles. I use the metric system and recorded 1677 kms which is 1042 miles.
This is a better performance than last year when it took me until July to hit the 1000 mile mark.

Well done sand yeti- I have a ways to go to catch up with you!
I've only had 3 sessions since March 16 (when I started keeping track w/ a GPS) - total distance buggied so far... 31.04 miles... (all with light/
on-off wind )... waiting for some better weather and wind now since it should be getting nicer...(grrrr...snow in April..... )

That is a remarkable distance travelled in such a short time especially in the terrain you buggy on.....
