Do landboarders use any ankle support or wear boots when you kiteboard? I normally don't but for some reason it just seems like I should have ankle
protection. I never really fell off my landboard yet since I just cruise, so I wouldn't know, but doesn't it hurt your ankles when you eat it and
your feet get stuck in the bindings??
Does a lighter board reduce ankle injury by any chance? It seems like it would.
Lastly, if you do use ankle support, does it get in the way of your turning or your sliding stops? Or does it make it harder to perform those moves?

I thought about getting some ankle braces, but I settled on just getting some hightop shoes, they arent quite as high as I'd like them for total
support, but they work just fine for me. They also have a velcro adjustment so I can tighten them up. No ankle injuries yet!
Remember those Reebok pumps? I bet they would do well, too. Ive nearly trashed them in just a couple of months, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

Hi-I have pretty messed up ankles from to many years skateboarding, climbing, windsurfing etc. I got a pair of these (see link below) for jetskiing
last year. I don't wear shoes while ATB riding on the beach. But I wear water shoes while riding jetskis. These braces will easily fit into shoes.
They are real nice and work well.
