My last thread really wasnt an intro to what i fly. So here i go.

I started flying stunt kites when i was about 13 but didnt know anything about power kiting. Then i went to an airshow here in oklahoma city. That is when i was introducted to quad kites. The resident kite man of oklahoma city was here flying a revolution kite. It was one of the most amazing kites I had seen. So then i went down to Corpus Cristy and found a kite store there. They had a special going on on. The 1.4 quad trainer by go fly a kite (not sure on its real name). I bought it started learning how to fly it and just had so much fun with the control i had over it. It wasnt powerful at all. but the control was amazing. Then I happen to be looking on ebay one day looking for a revolution. I stumbled across powerkites all diffrent types so i thought i would do some research. The kite man had a thunderfoil set on sail little 9 foot kite not to big but powerful in 20+ winds.

Well I had that for about a year and decided i needed more power. So i stopped by the kitmas place one day and he had a 7m. ozone riot he gave it to me for 450 strings and all. I played with it for a while and wanted a bar set up i thought they looked better and would be easier to control. I found one on ebay only problem is that it came with a 14 m. ozone frenzy. Well I won it for 650 and have had it almost 2 months now but its so big i have to have minimal wind to fly it like 7-10 miles no more. I took it out for the 3rd time about a week ago and every time i fly it i just love the sport more and more. I want to try a buggy out though before I actually buy one right now all i do is try to stand in a feild and not get drug around like a fish.

Well thats my story i just hope there is someone out there that can show me the ropes and maybe possibly introduce me to kite buggying.
