Well everyone it's getting to be that time of year around here. Over a 100 degrees all week! Sun block for some water for all!! Thats what I remember
not to forget in the heat. People feel free to add your opinion! I remember some pretty hot riding stories last year so be cool when buggying in the
heat! Ride on fly safe.lunchbox - 15-5-2008 at 09:07 AM
Yep, supposed to be 96F today but should push a 100F in Woodland Hills.
I usually try to fly my local college at lunch time but damn when it's that hot the winds gotta be good or I'm staying inside my cub.
Kinda feel sorry for my coworkers when I come back all sweaty and stinky (well, I hope not)...putting the deodorant to the test!
Can't wait for the beach this weekend, however!zloty - 15-5-2008 at 09:36 AM
Sequoia commercial - 120 F on the entrance to Dead Valley. That was way too HOT:frog: . Crazy 3 hours of riding. Camelpack loaded with ice was my best
friend.Sthrasher38 - 15-5-2008 at 11:12 AM
120!!! I would not even go outside!!! I think it would be hard to have fun doing anything besides swimming in 120 degrees!!Kiteboarder2B - 15-5-2008 at 04:59 PM
Gotta be 110 percent committed! I sailed in those conditions daily last summer. Like Zloty said, Camelback full of water is an absolute must. I also
carry a 5 gallon jug of water/ice to spray myself down with right before I sail.
I call it the 5-0-40 Air conditioning unit. 5 gallons of water, 0 windows, and 40 mph baby.

Ah, 75 degrees was amazing today. Nice game of frisbee in the absence of wind was beautiful. Sthrasher38 - 16-5-2008 at 08:03 AM
Whatever! it's a cool 102 here today with no wind!:evil:Dagon - 16-5-2008 at 08:18 AM
I thought this thread would be about nice looking ladies who also like to kite!
Maybe we should start a swimsuit issue threadSthrasher38 - 16-5-2008 at 08:25 AM
Gotcha! I don't think I would look that hot in a womans swimsuit:moon: I would like to see some hot lady kiters also. Start it up. How ya doing by the
way? Your quiver is looking tight. Any ideas for your next kite? Did you find a harness yet?elkiter - 16-5-2008 at 08:43 AM

too funny.
Yes Thrasher my quiver has expanded recently. No dice on the harness, i think I will wait for a dakine storm size M. My next kite will be a 6-8m
race kite for the low wind days, I was looking at that 6.6 blade for sale. I dunno yet, I will just wait for a good deal to show up.torisspacedog - 16-5-2008 at 06:10 PM
