Let's hear what you ride with: What kind of harness do you have? Likes dis-likes. Comfort, Ability to hook un-hook, Waist, seat, buggying or static.
Stuff like that.
Thanks.

Dakine speed seat with roller bar. This is my second one. I like it a lot and am sticking with what works for me.

Mystic Force Sheild (seat) has been good to me.
domdino - 16-5-2008 at 12:45 PM
Mystic Firestarter 08, best harness i've ever worn!!
I was annoyed with Dakine's giving me rashes around my stomach and hurting my back after a while (especially on water, not so much problem with it on
land (rashes on both though)) the mystic is pretty amazing and it has knife and all kinds of safety releases I love it! Bit more pricey though of course...

Dakine Tabu, so far so good! No rashes as of yet but I ride in freash water so that might be why. i love the pivot spreader Corey llama talked me
into.

I also use Da Kine Tabu. Been using it for several years now. It's waist harness, but works perfect for me on a buggy. I like that the spreader bar
moves to either left or right side. Not fixed in the center. On a buggy, I don't need to twist my waist where the kite is pulling.

until yesterday the Mystic Aviator--excellent fit and comfort. bar secures easily, plenty of sinching adjustments to keep the jewels from getting
damaged, robust build and padded well.....I opted for a DaKine 08 Pyro and have ridden it twice (land/aqua) so early dayz but so far so good. I really
liked the Mystic but wanted to try a waist harness..............

I use a Dakine Storm with a roller spreader bar. It's my first harness and it's very comfortable. I ride a landboard with this setup. The legs/thigh
straps don't ride up so this harness has been very comfy to use. When I started using this harness, I used to put my cell phone in one jeans pocket
and put keys in another pocket which also hooked the legs straps down. However, without these artificial hooks, the thigh straps are behaving very
well.

Dakine Nexus. Similar to the Tabu but a winsurfing harness so no handle in back. Comfy until it rides up !
Standard hook spreader. I like to pop in and out + use a chicken loop.
If I had the spare change I would get a Slingshot Surefire Spreader and a Mystic aviater

dakine fusion seat harness with hammerhead hook spreader bar. Love it for skiing. Like it for landboarding (still not used to the low tow point for
landboarding) but it is comfy and I can't get along with waist harnesses as they always ride up on me and crush my ribs.

Dakine Icon windsurfing waist harness. Rides up, and the spreader bar hits my sternum, and it kills. I think I might trade in for a seat harness soon.
nhlrule56 - 16-5-2008 at 10:41 PM
Dakine XT Seat harness, 12" hammerhead spreader bar w/pad (38" waste). Switching to Ozone AccessXC harness due to the bulkiness of the XT harness.
Ordered AccessXC two weeks ago and STILL on back order. :-( I guess "In Stock and Ready to Ship" really means we have to order it from distribution
and you'll eventyully get it.

Thanks everyone that give me some ideas on what is out there. cool.
speleopower - 17-5-2008 at 03:13 PM
DaKine XT seat with long roller spreader bar. I've used these harnesses since about 2001 or so. I've tried a bunch of different harnesses but I have
sold all of them. The XT seat is comfortable and has a low hook height. The harness does not ride up to bad except during poorly executed jumps.
When it does ride up it's easy to push it down again.

old prolimit seat fully adjustable seems ok i use it both for land and water. I got it for land riding and for the padding but used once on a water
run i haven't used the cabrinah impact vest since.
kiteon - 18-5-2008 at 12:53 PM
it looks like da kine wins the match.
i have a da kine tabu waist. the only thing i would change on mine is the roller bar to a hook spreader bar. the bar pad is a big plus too.

Welcome to the forum! And yea lot's of Dakine. Seem to be the most used for boarding and the buggy.
Sthrasher38 - 18-5-2008 at 12:58 PM
I got to try one at Nabx that had a roller It worked pretty well. why do you belive the hook is better? I hear the hooks wear the strop pretty good
but i guess they all will when used alot. I really liked the chest harness but can't seem to find anyone who sells them anymore. Alot of people say
they are not safe.
kiteon - 18-5-2008 at 02:36 PM
i think a chest harness would be a good idea but i see how with the center of gravity it would be unsafe.
you cant lock a roller in like you can with the hook. so it falls or slips off allot.
