The thing is I have been trying to sell a beginner board that I bought last year. The board is a Litewave Freeride 169x43 2007. I bought it used from
a local shop, and I must admit I paid a lot: 600$.
I have been trying to sell this board for 500$ on many forums without any success.
This guy at the local shop keeps telling me to keep it but I don't want. They like this board, and he is willing to give 550$ for it, but not in cash
of course, in stock value
They sell underground kiteboards, they look cool, and I know they are quite popular, and supposed to be very good boards.
Anyone tried or know these boards. I might go for a FLX 135x41, as I need a smaller board.

Hold an edge like nothing and load up pop like crazy but are also incredibly smooth... a lot like crazyfly... IMO crazyfly and underground are leading
the way in the kiteboard world...
135 should be perfect, i used a 132 for a while and i'm going to buy one pretty soon, would like to try some more sizes first but i think i'm pretty
much happy with the 132x39 at 160lbs

A quick question for you Dom,
I was recently advised by my kiteboarding instrutor to get a board in the 132 x 40 size range and I have been looking at the FLX 132 x 39 but I weigh
180lbs.
Would it be better to go for the 135 like Buzz? I am a beginner but my instructor said that judging by my kite skills I would do well with the 132.
Bearing in mind i have never been on the water yet but have just had lessons in on land.

For someone slightly heavier it just means you won't have as good a low end on the board - the 135 might be a better choice - especially if you're
going for the 2008 line the 135 is great and i've heard a lot of people who rode 2007 132s upsizing to the 2008 135, so i think it'd be a good idea to
go for that! I'm gonna get one soon but i want to try some more crazyflys first! The only real thing that annoyed me about the undergrounds is that
their colours are kind of hard to see in chop/waves because they're quite dark (especially the 08 132, dark blue...) that's pretty annoying when
you're trying to recover your board. The graphics on them look fantastic though, just don't stand out enough in the water though

I really like the look of the Crazy Fly boards but they are rather pricy in comparison to the UG boards.
Thanks for the advice though Dom. I am hopefully getting some lessons in the water this weekend and I know the school Im going through stock UG boards
so hopefully I will get to try before I buy.

Wow i didn't know that! Here in the USA UG boards are considerably more expensive than crazyfly! I guess it's cos crazyfly's are made here in the
usa.. weird!

Yup exactly, they look so good in real life as well... red is a better colour, should be able to spot it easy

Buzz, that's awesome graphic. I haven't tried Underground board but heard many good things about it.
Dom, I just received my brand spanking new Crazy Fly Pro board. Can't wait to take it out 
They are made in Slovakia, I believe.
Reckless, I agree with Dom and Buzz on board size for you. I weigh 150lb and Spleene Rip34 (134x40) is my all around board.

135x41 will probably be my all-around, as I aim to only have one other board for LW
I had 2 sessions last year with the Litewave 169. Easy but way too big, I think it outgrows too fast, so it's not worth spending on this unless you
want to keep as a LW board. But IMO, there are more fun boards for LW
This year I have been on a Spleene RIP 138x44. I would stick with this board if I were to only keep one, as it offers fair performance low and bottom
end. It's probably a good all-around for someone around 200lbs or a bit more. Anyway it did the beginner job very well.

Have any of you guys used any Jimmy lewis boards? I have some lessons on Monday and was hoping to demo some Underground and Crazy Fly boards but the
only boards they stock are JL.
