Mark well done. You should work a little on exposure unless You where shooting for that kind of effect. Did You use a dolly for some shoots,if not very nice camera work.

Thanks Zloty. No dolly... that's on the future list of big purchases though!

There were a couple shots on tripod, some handheld but most of it was shot on a glidecam. And yes, I was going for that effect with the highcontrast minimal colour look to it.

Thanks for teh comment!

Nice work - I liked the meandering shots across the path with the glidecam - good idea to keep away from static following shots.

Very nice work. Who was playing in the soundtrack? How many years have you been doing this? It looks like you have quite a few years under your belt. Good luck in the Film Festival. When do you get the results?

Huh?

Watched the Tokyo Police Club vid as well, but still murky...

Revenge? Guilt? The damage to the striker of even a just punitive blow?

The exposures seem to reflect / add to that sense of murkiness and ambiguity, but they are dark / high contrast.

nice camerawork, but what is a glidecam? a weighted hand-held stability thingie?

Your editing has a lot of variance in tempo, but there's a rhythm of sorts underneath, you might want to go back through, break down what you're doing in more detail, and see if there is anything you can do to add to it / improve what you have.

The viewer (well, me, and imho) is definitely interested, and looking for patterns, trying to figure out the sequence of shots / actions, and getting just enough info to have a rough sense of what's going on near the end. That process of active discovery seems to me to be the real hook in the movie.

There's also a sense of the supernatural, something strong behind the tree's roots -- not too sure what's going on there.

It's very unclear who does the violence in your vid, as opposed to the TPC vid. Is that intentional?

Not too sure why you're playing at with the time sequence...

there's some off the top of me head feedback for you there.

cheers,
