After flying in 20 mph winds last week, I (and my arms) decided it was time for a harness. I was trying to decide weather i wanted a seat or waist
harness and i decided on the Fusion seat harness. I ordered it from Big Winds, got it thursday night and used it yesterday with by Beamer TSR 3.6 in
15 mph winds. How did i ever fly my kite without this. It is easier to controll the kite since the pull of the kite isn't on my arms. The harness is
very comfortable. Since it is a seat harness it does take a minuet or 2 to get it on and the straps adjusted, and it is a little funky to walk in but
it gets really comfortable when the kite starts pulling. The only thing i would do different is get the pivioting (sp) spreader bar.

I just stand and kite for now. I want to get into landboarding ans kiteboarding but for now just standing. I am starting to look for a depower kite in
a 6 or 7 meter. The 15-20 mph winds almost never happen arround here. it is usually arround 5 mph so i want a bigger kite for the slower winds.B-Roc - 1-6-2008 at 01:45 PM

Are you looking at a 6/7m depower foil? Or LEI? A 6/7m LEI is a small kite, a 6/7m foil would do you good, but you would want more like a 10m LEI if

it ain't fun to board unless it's at least 12mph, for my depower i have right now at the moment. and it requires a little sine . i need a fixed

That's good to hear. I got an Ocean Rodeo Session a couple weeks ago but still haven't used it. Went to the beach yesterday with every intention of
putting the kite in the air but the wind was blowing a tad more than I'm comfortable with, plus there were a few too many people about. Oh well,
maybe next time.

I don't know what i need. winds here in st louis are usually not sable. some days are constant 7mph or less, some days are 10-15 gusting to 17 to 20,
very few days are constant 15 to 20. For the higher wind days my TSR does just fine but we typically have the 10mph or less days. any suggestions are
greatly appreciated.

Ozone Access is a good kite, I used the 6m at Dillon on skis and had a blast, best kite I've flown to date. IDK what it's low wind performance is, but
either an 8 or 10m would do you well. At your weight probably the 10m, but check the low end performance first, that part I am not sure about.stl kiter - 2-6-2008 at 07:07 AM
