Ripped Kite

Hey All

I had my brand new Cabrihna Contra 3 out the other day, and on launching it rubbed on a rock and got a 9 inch long cut with a small one inch L at one end. Third time out with the kite.
Anyway to make a truly sad story a little happier I bought kite fix to repair it. I used the fibre fix and then a layer of glue fix over it. The repair is not invisible, but doesn't stand out to much either. It also stayed flexible and I pulled on it hard enough I was scared to rip the kite somewhere else.
The whole repair took 20 minutes plus another 20 for the second side to dry. Super easy.
On U-tube they have a video called kill-2-kite they cut two kites in half and use this stuff to make one kite with half of each.
Anyway as far as I am conserned this stuff is awsome I bought a small kit with everything you need plus bladder patches and dacron tape for 35 bucks mailed right to me. The kit directions said there was enough stuff to repair a 4 foot rip.
It would definetly save the day for rips in ripstop nylon.
Anyway just my 2-cents worth.

yeah, kitefix rocks! I just received my second pack of Gluefix, as I used my first one out. Works great. Highly recommended.
