I guess this is no longer a rule after looking back over the rules. Several years back I had a post removed for the same thing a few sold kites and a few that were not sold. My bad

Someone did have a problem distinguishing what is for sale and what is sold as you can see above. I simply told him that if he did have a problem with it there is a solution. So I don't see that as not being kind I see that as helping someone out.

It is a Blade I and thanks for reminding me about it being on my list, I have been using it a good bit and love it and I'm going to keep it in my quiver until I can replace it with a Blade IV 8.5

This is my first purchase of a used kite and from an unknown person over the internet. I sent a money order and received the kite less than a week later. I don't know when this kite first came out but this one looked almost new. BBrex even sent a pair of handles. I rigged it with the same setup as my SS B6 (3 lines on a bar) and tried it today. I was able to get it filled enough to launch in 10 mph winds and once it was fully filled it flew well. It looks bigger than my SS B4 and produces more power and lift. The third line enabled a safe backstall/landing. I need to get pvc pipe as suggested to empty the air. That was a drawback because I couldn't pack up efficiently. In general I am very happy with this kite deal.

I am wondering about the C-Quads. First do you still have them. And second do you have a bar and lines that would work with them. All I have are foils so I only have handles.

To get the most out of a C-quad you want to fly it on handles .

When cruising working the breaks for added power works like crazy due to the stiff frame. For me that is the one of the most enjoyable character traits that it has!

The 1.7 sting rocks :bigok: My high wind kite at nabx on tuesday. My 3yr old was flying a 1.2 in the low teens this weekend with me as his harness. Really fun, stable kite, great price.

My only reccomendation is that if you are going to fly this kite hard, then use lines and handles from another kite as the stock lines are lower weight and the handles are thinner plastic. Fine for rec flying and light use... I even flew the kite in the buggy on the playa at 20mph or so, but worth sharing lines if you have a surface with more resistance like grass or sand. Was also flying on 25m lines ;)

The XXL has a wingspan of 5.4m and a projected area of 6.23 m2 which gives it a 4.68:1 aspect ratio (aspect ratio = wingspan^2/projected area) I can't find technical data for a Blade2 but a Blade4 has a 5.0:1 aspect ratio.
