Right now i have a HQ Beemer 3.6 TSR and i love the kite but it does not like low wind days so i am looking for a bigger foil kite with depower. I am
going to start landboarding with the Beemer and want to use the new kite with the landboard once i get used to it with the Beemer.
Any help is appreciated.

De-power kites are not known for their low-end wind range. Often due to the added wight of the pullies and more complex bridle. for light wind there
is nothing like the larger fixed bridle foils in the 6-8 meter range. Look at the new Crossfire II as a good, versatile kite for a land board.
That being said my Montana III 9.5m (de-power) will launch in 6-8mph and fly smartly once you get it moving.
The Apex 10 meter may be a good, affordable choice and will probably launch in 5 mph with some skill.

Will you be flying inland ( gusty ) or on the beach ( clean winds) ?
Do you want the kite to eventually go on water ? If not.... the Radsail Evo that is for sail is a very good deal ? It's a BIG jump from your Beamer
but if you have low wind needs it would be the right ( depower ) kite.

Hey Stl kiter,
Yeah, if you're flying inland and have similar conditions to mine (light, gusty, pockets upon pockets of holey air), then I would definitely recommend
a large fixed bridle as well.
I tried several depowers (sub 10mph) and when I needed to sine back or loop to get back into the 'wind', they just didn't have the turning speed I
needed.
Never tried the Speed 2 SA 19m however. But with a retail of over 2500, I just can't justify it.
Just my 2 cents!

Take a look at iwindsurf.com and surch for Ozone in the classifieds. I'd recommend a Manta II or Frenzy FX. They aren't the greatest in very light
winds (below 8mph), but if you want a stable depower that's the place to go. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for (and they are ready to
fly).
Just remember that because of their efficiency, you have to go a couple of sizes up to get the same traction. Your 3.6 probably has the same traction
as my 6m Access.
